Dell Expands AI Footprint with Enterprise Data Tools to Accelerate Automation
Dell Technologies announced new AI Data Platform capabilities on October 6, 2026, designed to help AI agents understand and connect business information across databases, documents, cloud services, and enterprise systems. The updates introduce a Unified Semantic Layer, an Enterprise Knowledge Graph, and Knowledge Agents to provide consistent business definitions and governed access to information. Dell is also working with NVIDIA to accelerate data processing, reporting approximately 3.9 times faster average performance in internal benchmarks. Storage security improvements and AI-ready services are also part of the expansion. The three main knowledge-management capabilities are scheduled for release in the first half of 2027.
